📋 Description

• Lead and support moderate to complex projects defining business capabilities and analyzing problems or opportunities • Evaluate business technology requests and lead analysis to define scope, sizing, and implementation requirements • Formulate systems scope and objectives through research, fact-finding, and understanding of business solutions and requirements • Liaise among stakeholders to elicit, organize, evaluate, and validate workflow and information-system change needs • Lead moderately to complex projects and create process maps, value-chain maps, conceptual design specifications, and use-case artifacts • Create business capability views, capability heatmaps, value-stream analyses, high-level business context diagrams, and information-mapping documents • Perform root-cause analysis and identify opportunities to streamline processes and enable continuous improvement • Build and grow business relationships supporting program success • Identify alternative approaches to support informed decision-making • Prepare communications and presentations related to business systems, processes, and analysis • Collaborate with business leaders, IT leaders, architects, analysts, product owners/managers, and implementation teams • Guide scoping, estimation, and solutioning of new systems or business solutions • Ensure technology architecture aligns with business objectives and manage project scope

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, Economics or equivalent • 7 years of proven business experience as a business architect, consultant, and or a similar role • Knowledge of Insurance domain • Strong working knowledge of IT systems and corresponding business applications • Knowledge of organizational functions, customers, and their processes • Ability to collaborate as part of a project team in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment • Solid technical knowledge of IT business systems and corresponding applications • Ability to conduct independent research into project and technology-related issues • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to build consensus across teams and functions • Knowledge of business capability model, operating model, analytical tools and techniques • Ability to balance competing priorities and navigate sensitive topics and team dynamics • Expertise with Microsoft Office, Visio, and other business-related software • Candidate location in Central or Eastern US time zone is preferred OR willingness to work Central or Eastern time zone business hours • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship • All work must be performed within the United States
