📋 Description

• Respond to internal and external customer inquiries and research and resolve balancing problems. • Assist with training new staff in Financial Operations functions. • Review and update job procedures and policies within the department. • Complete daily exception item processing within established timeframes. • Correct errors with clearing institutions, third-party vendors, and/or credit unions. • Review physical checks and process validated payments; reject and return payments that cannot be validated according to guidelines. • Resolve settlement tickets from internal and external clients via the ticketing portal. • Work with customers and vendors to resolve settlement issues and inquiries. • Reconcile daily transaction postings between vendors, cardholders, and credit unions/financial institutions. • Complete requests related to check copies, stop payments, and other product inquiries. • Process and balance daily Convenience check files, ensuring transactions and returns meet guidelines and bank timeframes. • Maintain current working knowledge of in-house and external systems. • Perform other duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• Associates degree or equivalent business experience required. • Four (4) years accounting or banking related experience required; preferably in the area of Settlement or Finance. • This role is currently not eligible for sponsorship. • Ability to work with in-house and external systems. • Knowledge of settlement, finance, accounting, or banking operations.
