⢠Identify and develop HNW and UHNW prospects through research, wealth screening, referrals, executive and board networks, events, and direct outreach ⢠Lead prospects through qualification, discovery, cultivation, solicitation, negotiation, and close ⢠Own approximately $3M+ in annual fundraising and accurately forecast pipeline progress, risks, and opportunities ⢠Create tailored cultivation strategies connecting philanthropic interests to CodeAI's mission, programs, and funding priorities ⢠Partner with the CEO, executives, and board members to advance high-potential opportunities ⢠Design donor experiences to surface new prospects and move existing prospects forward ⢠Develop donor proposals, pitches, and presentations ⢠Build repeatable prospecting, outreach, qualification, cultivation, and conversion practices ⢠Maintain accurate prospect and opportunity records in Salesforce ⢠Work across CodeAI to advance opportunities and ensure clean gift processing and stewardship handoffs ⢠Identify and cultivate net-new foundation and corporate funding opportunities as a secondary focus
⢠8+ years of frontline fundraising experience, with significant time in major individual giving and engaging HNW and UHNW individuals ⢠Demonstrated track record of building a major-donor portfolio from the ground up, without relying primarily on an inherited book of business or warm leads ⢠Proven success independently originating, cultivating, and closing six- and seven-figure transformational gifts and multi-year commitments across the full major-gift cycle ⢠Experience owning significant fundraising goals and managing a pipeline capable of producing multi-million-dollar annual revenue, with strong forecasting discipline and experience in Salesforce or a similar CRM ⢠Experience partnering with CEOs, executives, and board members to advance high-value donor relationships ⢠Excellent relationship-building, communication, storytelling, and proposal-development skills, with the judgment and discretion required to engage sophisticated philanthropic investors ⢠Ability to operate independently, create opportunity, and deliver results in an ambiguous, high-accountability environment ⢠Deep passion for CodeAI's mission and willingness to travel up to 20% to engage donors and prospects ⢠U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident ⢠Work within the continental United States ⢠Pass a pre-employment background check ⢠Willingness to travel up to 20% ⢠Preferred: experience fundraising in education, technology, AI, or another mission-driven environment ⢠Preferred: experience using events and high-touch experiences to originate and cultivate major-donor relationships ⢠Preferred: experience developing scalable prospecting and major-giving practices
