📋 Description

• Configure and build Salesforce enhancements and new features declaratively • Participate in ticket triage and independently resolve inbound cases • Deploy changes from sandbox to production within DevOps practices • Support users through User Acceptance Testing and improve testing and signoff processes • Maintain user-facing and team-facing system documentation • Propose enhancements and bug fixes to systems and processes • Own case and project intake, lead discovery sessions, write requirements and level-of-effort estimates, and refine the backlog • Translate stakeholder requests into requirements that the team can implement • Gather requirements for workflows spanning Salesforce and connected tools • Surface technical impacts, data-integrity considerations, effort, scalability, maintainability, and user-experience tradeoffs • Improve requirements intake and refinement so work is sprint-ready and delivery is not delayed by late changes • Document business processes and identify improvement opportunities • Improve grantmaking-operation flows and forms so responses become structured data • Gather requirements and run discovery for partnerships work • Run discovery for cross-system integrations and determine data ownership and sync direction • Standardize and automate project intake, requirements gathering, refinement, and approval • Scope Salesforce requests and select the best solution across Salesforce, Claude workflows, Airtable, or process changes • Collaborate as an individual contributor on a growing Salesforce team with no direct reports

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce configuration and declarative build experience • Experience with custom objects and fields, validation rules, email alerts, screen flows, page layouts, Lightning pages, permission sets, sharing settings, custom metadata types, custom settings, complex cross-object formula fields, and roll-up summaries • Experience deploying changes from sandbox to production • Salesforce Certified Administrator certification • At least one of Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator or Salesforce Certified Business Analyst • Experience gathering, documenting, and improving business-process requirements • Ability to translate stakeholder requests into clear, build-ready requirements • Ability to gather requirements across Salesforce, Airtable, Slack, Claude-powered workflows, and manual processes • Ability to assess technical impact, data integrity, level of effort, scalability, maintainability, and user-experience tradeoffs • Ability to read enough Apex to understand record behavior; Apex writing is not expected • Experience with, or strong openness to, AI-enabled workflows and Salesforce MCP • Ability to work with stakeholders of varying technical familiarity • Ability to work at least 3–4 hours of daily overlap with U.S. Eastern time • Must be able to work without visa sponsorship • Additional Advanced Administrator and Business Analyst certifications, breadth across organizations, nonprofit experience, basic Apex or LWC, Platform Developer I, and third-party integration experience are desirable but not required
