📋 Description

• Create, maintain, and enhance user guides, style sheets, templates, and automated review processes using RoboHelp 2022 • Analyze, author, edit, and maintain technical documentation for software applications, including technical reference manuals, user guides, online user manuals, training materials, and project and system documentation • Develop, review, and maintain procedural documentation, including department policies and procedures, work instructions, audit documentation, and disaster recovery plans • Support business analysis activities by assisting with Business Requirements, Release Notes, User Acceptance Testing plans, post-deployment documentation, and other project deliverables • Maintain and govern the IT System Documentation Library, including document finalization, publication, version control, and template administration • Collaborate with IT staff, project teams, and subject matter experts throughout the software development lifecycle to assess documentation needs and gather complex information • Prioritize assignments, resolve documentation challenges, recommend process improvements, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality documentation • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Three (3) years of professional experience as a technical writer or related writing experience • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Technical Writing, Communications, Computer Science or related field, or substitute with 4 additional years of technical writing experience • RoboHelp, Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint skills • Ability to work with Microsoft Office Templates and maintain the established IT documentation • Experience with software development methodologies and processes • Advanced written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Satisfactory completion of a pre-employment background check • A credit check may be required where relevant and permitted by law
