📋 Description

• Own cross-cutting infrastructure initiatives spanning AWS, GCP, and Networking pillars • Build and maintain self-service tooling and paved-road defaults for safe cloud infrastructure provisioning and operation • Partner with Compute, Infra Security, and Routing teams to embed security, compliance, and reliability guardrails • Drive infrastructure standardization across Coinbase’s multi-cloud environment • Lead technical investigations and operational improvements across infrastructure boundaries • Collaborate with AWS, GCP, Networking, Compute, Infra Security, Routing, and broader infrastructure stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience • 3+ years building and operating production cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or GCP, including networking, compute, or platform engineering • Hands-on experience with cloud networking primitives such as VPCs, transit gateways, DNS, and load balancers • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi • Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Go or Python • Ability to drive cross-team technical initiatives across multiple infrastructure domains • Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight • Must be eligible to work in the United States, as indicated by the US-only remote location and US applicant notices
