📋 Description

• Own cross-cutting infrastructure initiatives spanning AWS, GCP, and Networking within Core Infra Systems • Build and maintain self-service tooling and paved-road defaults for safe cloud infrastructure provisioning and operation • Partner with Compute, Infra Security, and Routing teams to embed security, compliance, and reliability guardrails • Drive infrastructure standardization across Coinbase’s multi-cloud environment • Lead technical investigations and operational improvements across infrastructure boundaries • Resolve systemic issues and scale foundational systems with infrastructure stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience • 3+ years building and operating production cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or GCP, including networking, compute, or platform engineering • Hands-on experience with VPCs, transit gateways, DNS, load balancers, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi • Proficiency in at least one backend language, such as Go or Python, for platform tooling and automation at scale • Ability to drive cross-team technical initiatives across multiple infrastructure domains • Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight • Must be located in the United States
