📋 Description

• Handle day-to-day graphic requests across multiple assigned AP courses based on shifting production priorities • Produce technical vector graphics, maps, and illustrations according to AP Graphics standards • Adapt graphics across formats and course domains • Move between courses as volume, deadlines, and coverage needs require • Maintain brand and accessibility consistency • Contribute to asset libraries, templates, and documentation across multiple courses • Troubleshoot technical issues and workflow questions • Contribute to team-wide process improvements • Communicate with content experts and production colleagues to resolve requests and design issues • Ramp into new subject matter and production standards on tight timelines in a deadline-driven environment

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of professional technical art, graphic design, and/or illustration experience • Portfolio demonstrating excellent vector graphic and illustration skills • Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop • Familiarity with graphics industry conventions for digital display and print, including resolution, file formats, color modes, and typography • Understanding of basic mathematical concepts such as scale, angles, ratios, and percentages • Competent photo editing skills • Strong attention to detail • Working knowledge of Smartsheet and/or SharePoint preferred • Familiarity with AP course subject matter is a strong plus • Bachelor's degree in Design, Illustration, or another related field • Ability to travel 2–4 times a year to College Board offices or on behalf of College Board business • Passion for expanding educational and career opportunities and mission-driven work • Curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging technologies, willingness to adopt AI-driven solutions, and comfort learning new digital tools independently • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills • Learner's mindset and commitment to growth • Drive for impact and excellence • Collaborative and empathetic approach • Authorization to work in the United States
