📋 Description

• Create and lead a centralized portfolio management and planning capability within Operations • Maintain an integrated view of priority operational initiatives and support required for product and program delivery • Align, prioritize, and sequence initiatives across teams and release cycles • Partner with Product, Program, Technology, and Operations leaders on roadmap integration • Run a single intake point for Operations technology solution requests • Establish planning cadences, intake, prioritization, and delivery routines • Develop and implement a single intake process for Operations product changes within the first year • Provide strategic planning recommendations to Operations leadership • Create transparency into work in progress, dependencies, and ownership across Operations • Run internal reviews, surface blockers, escalate risks, and ensure on-time delivery • Communicate roadmap priorities, timelines, and intended outcomes to leaders and stakeholders • Coordinate portfolio sequencing and cross-team prioritization with the Digital Ops Platform Lead • Consolidate product and program initiatives intersecting with operational initiatives • Capture portfolio needs and recommend prioritization sequences for Operations leadership • Align Operations, Product, Program, and Technology delivery milestones with product launch timelines • Analyze, document, and deliver insights and data influencing product and service design • Track and communicate outcomes and impact of delivered solutions • Advocate for Operations portfolio priorities and identify opportunities to improve systems

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in operations planning, portfolio management, or product/program management within a complex, matrixed organization • Strong understanding of product development and technology delivery lifecycles • Ability to translate operational needs into actionable work for technical teams • Experience partnering with Product, Program, and Technology leaders to align goals, identify dependencies, and deliver scalable solutions • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and create structure from scattered inputs • Strong organization and prioritization skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to facilitate planning sessions, lead reviews, and present to senior leadership • Ability to influence and build relationships across diverse teams • Ability to travel 6–8 times a year to College Board offices or on behalf of College Board business • Passion for expanding educational and career opportunities and mission-driven work • Curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging technologies, including AI-driven solutions • Willingness to learn and apply new digital tools independently and proactively • Learner’s mindset and commitment to growth • Drive for impact and excellence, including data-informed decision-making • Collaborative and empathetic approach • Authorization to work in the United States
