📋 Description

• Lead day-to-day operations across the studio network, corporate team, call center, scheduling, inventory, and warehouse • Own recruiting, performance management, talent reviews, and workforce planning • Lead the People Lead • Build and run scorecards, operating reviews, and a weekly accountability cadence • Run payroll and back-office administration, including corrections and exception handling • Make facilities, vendor, and location-spend decisions within agreed authority limits • Coordinate responses to labor, compliance, and legal matters • Identify recurring operating problems and implement processes, owners, and measures to prevent recurrence • Resolve routine operating decisions at the appropriate level and provide founders with clear updates • Establish location scorecards, named ownership, and weekly reviews without founder involvement • Improve inventory accuracy, call-center booking performance, scheduling, payroll, hiring funnels, performance management, turnover, location stability, and profitability • Support new-location openings and growth from 25 to roughly 40 locations over three years

🎯 Requirements

• Experience leading operations across multiple brick-and-mortar locations, such as a regional, district, multi-unit, or general-management role • Direct experience with several of: payroll, recruiting, performance management, facilities, vendor management, inventory, scheduling, or call-center operations • Evidence of leading a team while remaining close enough to the work to diagnose problems and act quickly • Sound judgment about independent decisions, information gathering, and involving founders or qualified counsel • Practical approach to tools, contractors, automation, and AI • Clear written and verbal communication, strong follow-through, and accountability to measurable standards • Ability to meet travel requirements • Ability to work effectively from a remote base near a major US airport • Ability to travel up to 80% to portfolio company studio locations • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
