📋 Description

• Design and implement testing strategies, including agentic AI, for automated validation of quality metrics and system gates • Select testing strategies for differing scenarios and processes • Provide guidance on functional and data-oriented risks • Help ensure system components prioritize security • Maintain engineering standards with product owners, architects, and stakeholders • Decompose new product capabilities into functional changes for verification • Create mock services to minimize dependencies on other teams • Provide entry and exit points for automated services used by engineers for quality validation • Build solutions using Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps best practices • Participate in and potentially lead Agile ceremonies • Develop processes for agentic-centered development • Lead and participate in peer reviews of design and code artifacts • Assist with production issue resolution • Advocate for development standards and security policies • Apply continuous integration and continuous delivery practices • Develop skills for work in a poly-skilled Agile team • Contribute to SDLC process design • Understand customer business processes and operations • Evaluate feature requests and provide level-of-effort estimates • Contribute to planning with Architects and Engineers • Analyze and conduct testing to identify efficient system approaches • Benchmark current approaches

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software systems, testing, quality assurance, and scripting/development • Working experience with quality tools such as Cucumber, Jest, and Postman • Familiarity with test doubles including stubs, fakes, shims, and mocks • Basic understanding of performance testing and its operating mechanics • Experience applying AI for development and testing • Experience testing code and scripting in Amazon Web Services environments, including Lambda, Step Functions, S3, and DynamoDB • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, infrastructure, and role-based access • Experience working in Agile methodologies • Ability to pitch new ideas and implement improved systems and processes • Strong oral and written communication and analytical ability • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Ability to travel 3–5 times per year to the New York City or Reston, Virginia office • Passion for expanding educational and career opportunities and mission-driven work • Curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging technologies and AI-driven solutions • Clear and concise written and verbal communication • Learner’s mindset and commitment to growth • Drive for impact and excellence • Collaborative and empathetic approach • Authorization to work in the United States
