📋 Description

• Build strong candidate pools and develop selection tools for rigorous, efficient hiring processes • Manage talent acquisition operations and strengthen related systems and processes • Manage searches to build a strong staff at Common Cause • Manage multiple searches simultaneously • Collaborate with hiring managers, interviewers, team members, and other staff • Manage all communications with candidates • Maintain strategic connections between talent acquisition work and other team priorities • Report to the Senior Director, Talent Management

🎯 Requirements

• Strong commitment to Common Cause’s nonpartisan mission and advancing civil rights through its pro-democracy agenda • Commitment to equity in work goals and interactions • Track record of collaborative work and ability to build rapport, trust, and credibility with diverse stakeholders • Ability to compel action through written and verbal communication, distill complex concepts for broad audiences, and tailor communications • Ability to manage multiple short- and long-term priorities and deadlines with attention to detail, organization, and independent time management • Openness to feedback and awareness of strengths and growth areas • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Zoom • Experience managing searches end-to-end, including sourcing and cultivating prospects, candidate assessment tools, and hiring-manager relationships • Experience managing searches in an applicant tracking system, ideally Lever • Ability to travel 4–6 times per year for team and/or all-staff retreats • Willingness to maintain a social media presence on behalf of Common Cause, including being tagged in posts and creating organizational content • Must not currently hold elected office, run for office, serve on a political candidate’s Steering or Finance Committee, or be affiliated with political-party leadership • Must provide documentation authorizing work in the United States; Common Cause cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa
