📋 Description

• Serve as a nonvoting family/parent member of the Compass Charter School Board • Bring the family and community perspective to board deliberations • Participate in board meetings and governance discussions in an advisory capacity • Complete the structured application, vetting, and board approval process • Serve a one-year term upon board approval

🎯 Requirements

• Must be a current Compass family member/parent or guardian • Must have a currently enrolled child at Compass Charter School • Submit a brief statement of interest and application through Team Tailor • Participate in vetting conversations with at least two board members and the School Leader • Attend and actively participate in all regularly scheduled board meetings • Uphold Compass's mission, values, and commitment to progressive, sustainability-focused education • Maintain confidentiality of executive session discussions • Disclose conflicts of interest promptly and recuse when appropriate • Complete required board training • Act in the best interest of Compass students and the school community
