📋 Description

• Maintain, configure, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless technologies, and security appliances. • Design and implement scalable network solutions that support organizational growth and performance. • Monitor network health, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure maximum uptime and reliability. • Support network security through best practices, system hardening, backups, and disaster recovery planning. • Plan, coordinate, and implement approved network upgrades, maintenance, and change requests. • Manage monitoring platforms and notification systems to proactively identify and resolve issues. • Research and evaluate network technologies, products, and services to support future initiatives. • Collaborate with vendors, contractors, IT leadership, and cross-functional teams on network projects. • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior Network Engineers. • Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation to support critical network operations.

🎯 Requirements

• High School/GED Required • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred • Three (3) years equivalent work experience preferred • Expert knowledge of various routing/switching protocols • High level understanding of configuration and deployment of Cisco/Meraki, HP, Aruba, Velocloud SD-WAN and Fortinet devices and software • Expert knowledge of security standards configuration of network hardware/software • High level ability to troubleshoot and problem solve complex networking issues • Ability to conduct research into networking issues and products as required • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment preferred • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment • A valid, unrestricted driver’s license and agency established minimum automobile coverage required • Licensure/Certification • Cisco Networking certification (CCNA or CCNP) or equivalent required • Qualification(s): Additional Requirements • Ability to communicate technical information and concepts in a clear, user-friendly manner • Demonstrated ability to work independently with strong self-direction and initiative • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
