📋 Description

• Support prospect identification, qualification, and pipeline development for the Global Philanthropic Engagement fundraising team • Conduct comprehensive research on philanthropic donor prospects, including philanthropic history, interests, network connections, and giving patterns • Perform holistic wealth assessments to predict giving capacity • Analyze existing donor portfolios to optimize fundraising and identify untapped philanthropic capacity • Translate data into actionable insights for fundraising teams • Produce research reports and donor profiles with clear insights and recommendations • Partner strategically with the GPE fundraising team to align research with fundraising priorities and organizational goals • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on fundraising campaigns and initiatives • Contribute to continuous improvement of the donor database and prospect management systems • Monitor research and fundraising industry trends, philanthropic developments, and prospect research best practices • Advocate for children's needs and uphold Compassion's cultural behaviors and ministry commitments

🎯 Requirements

• Christ-follower who maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ • Consistent witness for Jesus Christ and courteous, Christ-like attitude • Commitment to child protection considerations and compliance with Compassion's Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., nonprofit management, fundraising, data analytics, business intelligence) • Three+ years of experience in prospect research, donor research, fundraising intelligence, or related nonprofit/fundraising/development roles • Robust analytical skills and ability to synthesize data into actionable insights • Strong written and verbal communication skills • High integrity and ethical conduct when handling sensitive donor information and maintaining confidentiality • Strong interpersonal and cross-departmental collaboration skills • Proficiency in fundraising CRMs, preferably Salesforce, and data visualization tools such as Tableau • Ability to use online databases and research tools such as WealthEngine and LexisNexis • Experience in a large-scale capital campaign or multi-year fundraising initiative (preferred) • Expertise in wealth analysis, donor profiling, and philanthropy trends (preferred)
