📋 Description

• Assist the client’s site with First Aid calls • Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for examination and treatment • Assist practitioners as requested • Draw blood and prepare laboratory paperwork • Perform urine drug screens using proper chain of custody • Maintain clean and stocked exam, laboratory, and treatment rooms • Maintain inventory and reorder supplies as needed • Maintain onsite health, administrative, and program records while safeguarding confidentiality • Perform front-office duties, including answering telephones, check-in, check-out, and record processing • Dispense medications as directed and in accordance with state regulations • Operate and calibrate clinical equipment and maintain records • Perform ancillary testing and tasks including PFT, EKG, injections, audiograms, and blood draws • Provide excellent service to patients, clients, and peers • Ensure accurate documentation, paperwork, drug screens, DOTs, bandaging, dressings, and quality assurance checks • Manage time, prioritize, and multitask in a busy clinical environment • Adapt to changing schedules and work additional or different shifts when appropriate • Pursue additional clinical training and self-development • Communicate effectively with patients, clients, supervisors, and peers • Work collaboratively and support others to achieve results

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced and passionate PRN remote RN • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university OR graduate of an accredited Registered nursing program • Current registration/license in the state where employed • Successful completion of UDS, BAT, PFT, FIT, certification • At least one year of demonstrated experience in occupational health nursing or related field • Knowledge of occupational medicine requirements (state specific) • Working knowledge of clinical operations • Ability to train medical assistants under the direction of the Center Medical Director • Excellent communication skills • Ability to participate in Continuing Medical Education • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information, including HIPAA and PHI, in accordance with laws and company policies
