📋 Description

• Own infrastructure solution architecture for assigned projects, ensuring appropriate standards and processes are defined, established, and followed • Lead future-state business area architectures using enterprise architecture frameworks • Lead business area architecture gap analysis, including impact, ROI, time to benefit, strategic alignment, and roadmaps • Facilitate long-term architecture planning aligned with business product roadmaps and the ETS roadmap • Partner with BU CIO teams to understand technical objectives, product initiatives, sales pipeline activity, and portfolio delivery factors • Ensure solutions meet requirements for scalability, maintainability, reliability, extensibility, usability, and security • Integrate the IT technical vision across technologies, systems, and organizations • Conduct feasibility studies, develop high-level business models, prepare business cases, and assess system implications • Align business strategies, enterprise transformation activities, and technology direction through strategies, policies, standards, and practices • Set policy and strategy for selecting system architecture components and coordinate design activities • Assess emerging hardware, software, products, methods, and techniques and brief staff and management • Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and PMO teams on tactical and strategic deliverables • Develop architectures for complex systems aligned with internal customer requirements • Analyze issues, determine courses of action, provide direction, and reallocate resources when needed • Communicate across organizational levels, from BU CIOs and PMO leaders to infrastructure engineers and stakeholders • Provide technical oversight and guidance to deployment teams for on-time, on-budget implementation • Serve as the technical escalation point to remove roadblocks and resolve issues and risks • Build relationships with development and infrastructure teams to ensure technically sound solutions and timely, budget-compliant delivery

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of IT or technical services experience, including infrastructure architecture across cloud, hybrid, and private hosting environments • Strong experience with cloud services and platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent requests, projects, and responsibilities • Proven ability to leverage vendor and consultant expertise to support IT project delivery and operations • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and judgment skills • Strong leadership and customer-facing skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Experience with middleware technologies and databases • Foundational knowledge of cloud services and platforms • Foundational knowledge of compute platforms, including Linux and Windows • Foundational knowledge of networking technologies, including LAN, WAN, and WLAN • Foundational knowledge of storage and backup technologies, including SAN environments • Foundational knowledge of server and storage virtualization, including public, hybrid, and private cloud environments • Foundational knowledge of web technologies, including web servers, application servers, and load balancers • Foundational knowledge of security technologies and processes, including firewalls, intrusion prevention, compliance monitoring, and vulnerability management
