• Design, maintain, and continuously improve the global inventory allocation strategy • Run allocation cycles and exception management; reconcile planned supply versus demand, apply fair-share logic, and resolve escalations • Configure and steward allocation and inventory policies, including service levels, safety stock, MOQ, lead times, and EOQ • Monitor inventory health and lead corrective action plans involving rebalancing, substitutions, and transfers • Drive root cause analysis on stockouts and late orders; publish action plans • Own back order reporting and supply risk communication with the Business Unit • Track and report monthly global demand planning attainment against IBP baselines • Build and maintain forecast accuracy and bias dashboards • Diagnose demand variation and recommend model or parameter adjustments • Partner with Demand Planners and Sales to improve signal quality and consensus inputs • Support execution of the IBP cycle from Demand Review through Executive S&OP • Standardize and document process artifacts, templates, SOPs, RACI, data definitions, exception codes, and policies • Facilitate cross-functional alignment on plans, trade-offs, and executive decisions; track decisions to closure • Drive lean, digital, and automation improvements • Partner with the Center of Excellence on strategic initiatives • Build and automate reports covering allocation effectiveness, demand attainment, service level, fill rate, backlog, expedites, and cost-to-serve • Develop scenario analyses for constraint management, allocation policy changes, and demand surges • Provide ad hoc analysis for commercial priorities, NPI ramps, inventory projections, end-of-life strategies, special programs, and supply disruptions • Translate insights into quantified recommendations covering service, revenue, margin, and cash • Ensure master data integrity and maintain KPIs, thresholds, and alerting • Own back order projections for manufacturing and commercial back orders • Liaise between commercial, supply planning, quality, and logistics teams • Support IBP meetings with accurate updates and insights • Escalate risks and propose mitigation plans • Participate in daily S&OE and weekly Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Materials meetings; surface risks, make trade-offs, and drive decisions
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field • 3–5+ years in S&OP, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or Inventory Management in a multi-region environment • Proficiency with planning systems such as SAP IBP, Oracle, Kinaxis RapidResponse, o9, or Anaplan, or equivalent • Advanced Excel, Power BI, or Tableau • Strong analytical capabilities; SQL, Power Query, or Python a plus • Experience building dashboards and automating reports • Ability to run cross-functional processes, manage escalations, and present to senior stakeholders • Knowledge of inventory optimization concepts including service levels, safety stock, EOQ, and ABC/XYZ • Knowledge of forecast quality metrics including MAPE, WAPE, and Bias • Experience with global product portfolios and multi-plant/multi-DC networks • Experience with channel/customer allocation • Familiarity with constraint-based planning, ATP/CTP, and fair-share allocation logic • APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP) or equivalent preferred • Exposure to demand sensing, POS integration, and lifecycle/NPI forecasting • This position is not eligible for employer based sponsorship
