It delivers state-aligned curriculum and virtual classroom experiences with certified teachers, personalized learning, and support for families serving as learning coaches. The program offers grade-level courses, college and career readiness, clubs and socialization opportunities, and technology support across multiple U. S. states.

📋 Description

• Advise students and families regarding academics • Advise students on dropping courses and changing schedules while following school policies • Review student academic records • Implement programs addressing interpersonal adjustment issues for students and families • Help families access school and community resources with school teams • Participate in crisis prevention and management plan development and serve on the Student Support Team (SST) • Coordinate elementary teachers to identify students at risk or in crisis • Serve as point of contact for identified students and families and communicate regularly • Participate in PLC and GLT teams • Secure complete and accurate student records • Support families through the school withdrawal process and assist with withdrawal data collection • Report and refer critical incidents affecting student well-being according to law, regulations, and ethical standards • Stay current on state incident-reporting and documentation regulations • Assist teachers with mid-semester student enrollments and integration into coursework • Ensure prior grades, credits, and evaluations are handled appropriately • Support professional development for teachers and school staff • Support school-year cycle tasks • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Highly qualified and a certified Advisory Teacher in Missouri, appropriate to grade level and content area responsibilities • Experience with Professional Learning Communities • Strong technology skills, especially with Microsoft OS and MS Office programs • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Customer-focused approach • High degree of flexibility • Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced environment • Team player track record • Willingness to travel occasionally for marketing and state testing events, potentially requiring overnight travel two times per year • Ability to work remotely, if necessary • Ability to work occasional evening hours as needed to support families • Must be able to use a personal electronic device and email address for 2-step authentication
