📋 Description
• Manage instructional programs from home • Consult regularly with learning coaches and students • Support the instructional program with asynchronous web conferencing sessions • Complete all grading, create progress reports and conduct parent conferences • Communicate with parents, students and other teachers regularly • Develop a general knowledge of the entire program’s K-12 curriculum • Support students and parents with alternate strategies • Keep student records and data up-to-date • Devise and implement virtual methods of creating and maintaining a school community • Participate in the organization and administration of the State Testing • Participate in student recruiting sessions and other marketing efforts • Other duties as assigned
🎯 Requirements
• Certified to teach Secondary Mathematics in South Carolina • Must reside in South Carolina • Gifted and Talented Endorsement highly recommended • Strong technology skills (especially with MS Office programs and Google Suite) • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written • Highly organized and punctual • Customer focused approach • High degree of flexibility • Demonstrated ability to work well in fast paced environment • Team player track record • Willingness to travel on occasion for school and state testing events • Ability to work remotely, if necessary • Ability to work some occasional evening hours, as needed to support some families • Must be able to use a personal electronic device and an email address for two-step authentication.
