• Deliver specially designed live, synchronous, camera-on virtual instruction using Pearson Online Classroom • Provide whole-group, small-group, and one-to-one instruction • Monitor student engagement and virtual classroom participation • Complete grading, progress reports, and parent conferences within required timelines • Implement Specially Designed Instruction within the MTSS framework, including Tier 3 interventions • Provide targeted intervention, enrichment, alternate instructional strategies, and assignment support • Develop, write, and implement IEPs and 504 plans • Schedule, organize, and conduct IEP-related meetings • Maintain IEP documentation, procedures, accommodations, modifications, and special education records • Communicate with parents, learning coaches, teachers, counselors, and special education professionals • Maintain accurate student data in the Learning Management System and special education software • Participate in the Student Support Team and develop program modifications and strategies • Manage homeroom students' attendance, academic progress, engagement, and required school-year tasks • Proctor and support state testing, including IEP-required testing adaptations, at physical locations • Participate in student recruitment sessions and other marketing efforts • Attend professional development and pursue ongoing professional growth • Collaborate with colleagues through virtual and in-person meetings and ongoing communication • Perform other duties as assigned
• Position is for the 2026–27 school year, starting ASAP • Must be highly qualified and certified to teach Special Education in Idaho • Must hold a valid Idaho Exceptional Child Education #7029 (K–12) credential • Applicants must reside in Idaho • Strong technology skills, particularly Google Workspace, Zoom, and Windows-based operating systems • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to analyze data, develop and implement intervention plans, and track student progress • High degree of flexibility and strong collaboration skills • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities in a remote, home-based setting • Willingness to travel occasionally for marketing events, field trips, and state testing, potentially including overnight travel • Ability to work occasional evening hours to support families • Private distraction-free workspace • High-speed internet • Appropriate childcare arrangements for dependent children during scheduled work hours (8 am–4 pm MST) • Two-step authentication required; may require use of a personal device • Must be available consistently during the school day, 8 am–4 pm MST
