📋 Description

• Oversee Medical Services staff and ensure adequate staffing coverage across all facilities • Maintain provider schedules for all markets with Workforce Management and adjust coverage as operational needs arise • Support clinical staffing and decision-making for patient admissions, treatment, and discharges • Provide direct clinical care as a BHMP for at least 25% of weekly hours, including assessment and treatment across locations • Provide shift coverage as needed to ensure continuity of patient care • Monitor patient flow and address barriers to patient movement with leadership • Coordinate patient care and continuity of services with external organizations • Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, motivating, and developing Medical Services staff • Support performance management and conflict resolution • Provide leadership and guidance to promote teamwork and quality patient care • Manage students, residents, and university contracts as required • Ensure provider payroll accurately reflects hours worked • Collaborate with Workforce Management and operational leadership on scheduling and staffing • Develop and lead trainings for Medical Services staff • Travel to other Connections locations as needed for training, clinical operations, and organizational initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program with psychiatric certification • Psychiatric certification required • Three years of experience in crisis mental health and/or behavioral health treatment for children, adolescents, or adults • Experience providing treatment to children, adolescents, and adults • Two years of experience in a supervisory position • Licensed in each state where Connections operates a facility (AZ, PA, WA, VA) • Appropriate board certification • Valid DEA certification • X-waiver or other applicable prescribing authorization as required
