📋 Description

• Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with organizational business goals • Ensure data governance policies and best practices support data accuracy, consistency, privacy, and security • Lead development and implementation of data management processes, standards, and procedures • Oversee data privacy and compliance initiatives, including GDPR and CCPA requirements • Lead design and implementation of data architecture and infrastructure • Partner with IT and engineering teams to ensure scalability and performance of data lakes, data warehouses, and cloud storage • Ensure data is efficiently, securely, and accessibly stored for seamless integration and retrieval • Drive data analytics initiatives that generate actionable insights for organizational decision-making • Collaborate with business leaders to identify KPIs and align analytics efforts with organizational performance • Oversee dashboards, reports, and data visualizations • Lead and mentor data engineers, analysts, and scientists • Foster collaboration across business units and align data initiatives with product, marketing, finance, and operations teams • Establish and monitor metrics for data quality, integrity, and performance • Implement data quality checks and audits and troubleshoot issues • Promote data-driven decision-making across the organization • Manage third-party vendor relationships, including software providers, consultants, and cloud service providers • Communicate the value of enterprise data initiatives to executive leadership and nontechnical stakeholders • Stay current with data management and analytics trends, technologies, and innovations • Identify process and system improvements and lead initiatives to enhance data capabilities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field; master’s degree preferred • 10+ years of experience in data management, analytics, or business intelligence roles • 5+ years in a leadership capacity • Strong knowledge of data governance, data management, and analytics frameworks • Experience with modern data architectures such as cloud, data lakes, and data warehouses • Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Hadoop, AWS, and Azure • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Experience with data privacy, security regulations, and compliance • Proven track record of managing and mentoring high-performing teams • Employees must provide their own reliable internet if working a remote/hybrid position • Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours, if needed, to meet the job requirements • Experience with machine learning, artificial intelligence, or predictive analytics preferred • Experience in managing large-scale enterprise data transformation initiatives preferred • Strong business acumen with the ability to link data strategies to business outcomes preferred • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Visa sponsorship and STEM OPT extensions are not provided
