📋 Description

• Install, program, start up, check out, and certify assigned Fire, Security, and/or Building Automation projects • Provide related customer training on assigned projects • Work primarily on small to medium projects that are often less complex • Work on larger, more complex projects as needed and able • Deliver assigned projects effectively within budgeted cost and time schedules, with guidance as needed • Participate in the Recruit Awesome People program by referring talent to the Talent Acquisition Team and hiring managers • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required

🎯 Requirements

• High School/GED or equivalent experience • Basic construction skills and understanding of system plans • Basic ability to read and understand blueprints and design drawings • Understanding of wiring and labeling methods, system wiring, wiring methods, and cable support installation (J-Hook, Raceway, Conduit, Cable Support) • Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude • Ability to work with hand and power tools such as drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, hacksaw, and crimper • Ability to read blueprints and drawings • Solid math skills, including calculating area, velocity, resistance, and voltage for some positions • Basic construction with some level of electrical or low voltage background • Preferred but not required: 1-3 years relevant experience in electronic/electrical, fire alarm & life safety, data-cable installation, and/or building automation
