📋 Description

• Install product storage, processing, and delivery equipment at customer sites • Start up, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair cryogenic and gaseous product storage systems • Work with cryogenic tanks, pumps, and piping for liquid oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen, and carbon dioxide • Coordinate equipment selection, cranes, transportation, installation, startup support, and operational readiness • Supervise contractors, maintenance technicians, and crane contractors • Serve as Lift Supervisor for crane equipment lifts/sets up to 600 Standard Tons • Provide customer training and interface directly with customers • Perform brazing, piping installation, and pressure testing • Practice safe handling of hand and power tools • Prepare accurate cost reports for materials and labor • Maintain proper system technical and commercial documentation • Provide ongoing area maintenance support as needed • Travel extensively and drive a company-provided vehicle while maintaining high safety standards • Work independently in a residence-based Customer Engineering role

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required • Trade, technical degree or apprenticeship in a related field preferred but not required • Military service considered in lieu of a trade or technical degree • Ability to pass a service/pickup truck road test and DOT physical • Good driving record • Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record • Class A CDL license preferred but not required • Flexibility to travel 75% • Proficiency with all hand tools • Ability to repair and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment • Excellent organizational and communication skills • Ability to read technical drawings, engineering drawings, flow sheets, equipment layout, piping drawings, and electrical controls schematics • Computer skills required • Ability to lift 50+ pounds • Ability to climb stairs and ladders • Safety-focused • Familiarity with gaseous and cryogenic piping systems, valves, tanks, and equipment • Knowledge of safe rigging and lifting procedures • Brazing and piping installation/pressure testing experience • Basic project management skills • Understanding of product properties, behavior, and hazards
