📋 Description

• Provide repair services for equipment in practitioners’ offices under the direction of a Lead Technician or Project Coordinator • Provide basic equipment installation services as needed • Complete onsite installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks under supervision • Diagnose technical problems using proper troubleshooting procedures and determine solutions • Make recommendations based on customer requirements to optimize the customer experience • Maintain appropriate inventory levels in the service van • Produce timely and detailed service reports • Attend required Henry Schein Dental Career Development and manufacturer technical training • Comply with OSHA regulations and use personal protective equipment when needed • Communicate assignment progress to team members and HUB dispatchers • Complete, review, close, and submit work orders for billing • Submit FDA forms, expense reports, and other required paperwork • Comply with Fleet Management Policy, including maintenance and accident management policies • Participate in special projects and perform other required duties

🎯 Requirements

• Typically 2 or more years of field service experience with demonstrated proficiency • Basic mechanical background • Customer service background • Basic troubleshooting skills • Independent self-starter • Basic computer skills • Interpersonal and communication skills • Professionalism • Accuracy and detail orientation • Working knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical systems • Ability to maneuver large equipment • Ability to perform substantial and/or repetitive bending, stopping, lifting, and ladder climbing • Compliance with OSHA regulations • High school education, vocational training, and/or on-the-job training are listed as typical education/training • Associates degree or Technical School Certification is preferred, not required
