📋 Description

• Lead CookUnity’s Advanced Analytics function across product performance, retention, and growth • Partner with Product, Finance, Operations, Growth, Marketing, and senior leadership to turn complex business questions into rigorous analyses and actionable recommendations • Set the analytical agenda, establish ownership, and prioritize high-impact questions • Measure the impact of product, operational, pricing, and loyalty-program decisions using experimentation and causal inference • Apply quasi-experimental methods when randomized tests are not feasible and communicate assumptions and uncertainty • Design, prioritize, and evaluate growth experiments across acquisition, activation, offers, and lifecycle engagement • Investigate churn, retention, customer value, and lifetime-value drivers • Translate customer behavior and product performance insights into roadmap and investment recommendations • Strengthen marketing measurement through MMM, MTA, and incrementality testing • Coach Data Analysts, provide technical direction and actionable feedback, and improve analytical rigor and delivery quality • Shape the team’s structure, priorities, and ways of working • Establish clear ownership and priorities within six months and deliver measurable retention and growth outcomes within 12 months

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in advanced analytics and advanced statistical analysis • At least 5 years in leadership roles • Applied experience in product and growth experimentation, causal inference, and customer retention analysis • Practical understanding of MMM, MTA, and incrementality testing • Hands-on experience independently investigating complex business problems and guiding others • Experience partnering with Product teams and translating analytical insights into product decisions and measurable business outcomes • People leadership experience, including developing talent, providing technical guidance, and improving team performance • Strong strategic judgment and business understanding • Ability to communicate complex findings, methodological limitations, and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders • Player-coach approach combining technical depth, strategic thinking, and people leadership • High autonomy, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive approach to solving problems • Preferred: experience in consumer-facing businesses, ideally with retention and growth analytics exposure • Preferred: experience scaling Analytics teams and strengthening their capabilities, structure, or ways of working
