• Lead state government affairs across assigned states and influence legislative outcomes impacting CoreWeave’s ability to grow and operate. • Build trusted relationships with state executives, policymakers, and staff. • Help shape CoreWeave’s state government affairs strategy and advance policy initiatives supporting expansion and growth. • Work with governors’ offices, state legislators, economic development agencies, in-state consultants, trade associations, and advocacy groups. • Own and lead legislative and political engagement for assigned states in the Southeast region. • Develop and execute state-specific engagement plans, identify stakeholders, anticipate emerging issues, establish milestones, and recommend action and escalation paths. • Monitor, analyze, and interpret state legislative and regulatory developments relevant to data centers, AI infrastructure, energy policy, and economic development. • Build and maintain relationships with state lawmakers, staff, and key stakeholders. • Conduct policy research and competitive analysis to identify coalition, working group, and advocacy opportunities. • Coordinate with commercial, legal, communications, and operations stakeholders on government affairs objectives. • Represent CoreWeave at hearings, industry events, and stakeholder meetings. • Support data center footprint growth and economic development through AI innovation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or a related field. • Minimum of 10 years of progressive professional experience in multi-state government affairs, legislative affairs, or a closely related policy role. • Deep understanding of state legislative and regulatory processes and how they translate to business outcomes. • Proven track record of building and managing bipartisan relationships with government officials and policymakers. • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex policy information. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences. • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, and drive projects to completion. • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Demonstrated ability to execute strategies within a collaborative team structure. • Strong multi-state government affairs experience. • Experience in tech, tax policy, energy policy, or infrastructure development. • Knowledge of AI, cloud computing, or related technology sectors. • Experience with coalition building or advocacy campaign management. • Familiarity with the political landscape and key decision-makers in multiple state markets, with particular focus on Texas. • Track record of generating business results or revenue impact from government affairs work. • Applicant must either be a U.S. person, eligible to access export controlled information without required export authorization, or eligible and reasonably likely to obtain required export authorization.
