📋 Description

• Serve as the dedicated legal business partner and primary legal counsel for the Windows & Doors business unit • Advise business leaders on strategic objectives, legal risks, and solutions • Participate in strategic planning and support mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships • Advise on corporate governance matters • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including supply, distribution, manufacturing, and licensing contracts • Manage customer and vendor contract portfolios • Support sales teams with contract negotiations and deal structuring • Advise on pricing, terms and conditions, and commercial risk management • Handle contract disputes and claims management • Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations and monitor regulatory developments • Develop compliance policies and procedures and deliver legal and compliance training • Support environmental, health, and safety legal requirements • Advise on trade compliance, tariffs, and import/export requirements • Advise on product development, launches, lifecycle management, and intellectual property protection • Review marketing and product communications for legal compliance • Handle product liability matters, construction defect litigation, and insurance warranty claims • Support real estate transactions, facility leases, and acquisitions • Advise on supply chain and logistics legal issues • Manage litigation, outside counsel relationships, legal budgets, matter staffing, fee arrangements, and performance evaluation

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school • Licensed to practice law • Minimum of 10 years of legal experience • Experience in manufacturing, industrial products, or construction/building materials industry preferred • Background in commercial law, contracts, litigation/claims, and regulatory compliance • Experience managing outside counsel relationships and legal budgets • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills • Ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical business guidance • Strong business judgment and ability to understand priorities and act decisively • Ability to adapt to change and resolve conflict effectively
