📋 Description

• Independently manage projects of all complexity levels • Coordinate projects and optimize designs • Design and oversee high-complexity metal building system projects • Ensure compliance with structural codes, customer requirements, manufacturing standards, and company standards • Develop optimized building solutions with customers • Provide technical expertise and professional oversight for projects requiring signature and seal • Assume supervisory responsibilities in the Engineering Manager’s absence • Manage project schedules, shifting priorities, and last-minute revisions • Apply sound engineering judgment to protect public safety • Mentor and train junior and mid-level engineers • Identify design improvements and cost-reduction opportunities • Drive productivity improvements while maintaining accuracy and completeness

🎯 Requirements

• Licensed Professional Engineer; PE or SE licensure • Licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states preferred • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in metal building design or structural engineering • Proven ability to design metal buildings of medium to high complexity • Proficiency in structural design and modeling software such as RISA, STAAD, AutoCAD, or equivalent • Proficiency in all metal building system design methodologies, including advanced and highly complex framing systems, custom configurations, and non-standard structural solutions • Ability to provide sealed design documents where required • Ability to balance and prioritize multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
