📋 Description

• Apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to complete engineering tasks • Support civil, structural, and electrical design workflows as needed • Develop complete and accurate plans, specifications, and observation reports • Recommend alterations to development criteria and design features to improve quality • Plan and accomplish project goals using experience and judgment • Resolve design challenges through field investigations or observations • Resolve discrepancies between multiple information sources • Perform civil site design computations and calculations • Maintain a value engineering mindset throughout development, design, and construction • Collaborate with business and engineering staff across markets and technical disciplines • Work with clients to understand technical needs and identify feasible solutions • Demonstrate creative thinking and design ownership • Facilitate development, design, and construction of renewable projects

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent is required • Civil Engineering-In-Training (EIT) registration required • Minimum of 3-5+ years of civil engineering experience required • 1-2 years of experience in design and development of renewable energy projects preferred • Understanding of large-scale site grading design, additions to existing civil designs, and earthwork calculations required • Familiarity with erosion and sediment control applications and temporary stormwater treatment techniques highly desired • Experience performing detailed design of renewable facilities with complex topographic, environmental, and non-participating infrastructure constraints desired • Demonstrated proficiency and working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D required • Proven experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Permanent authorization to work in the US • Relevant military experience considered
