📋 Description

• Manage non-complex and non-problematic Liability claims under direct supervision of a senior claims professional • Manage medical-only claims and minor lost-time liability claims under close supervision • Receive claims and confirm policy coverage and claim acknowledgment • Determine claim validity and compensability • Establish reserves and authorize payments within reserving authority limits • Communicate claim status with customers, claimants, and clients • Adhere to client and carrier guidelines • Participate in claims reviews as needed • Collaborate with team members on more complex or problematic claims • Handle litigated files with delegated limited authority • Comply with safety rules and regulations during working hours • Perform additional duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of industry experience and claims management preferred • Current Adjuster’s License in state of operation is required • Multi-State license is preferred • Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and related experience • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to learn rapidly and develop knowledge and understanding of claims practice • Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude • Ability to use Microsoft Office, including Excel spreadsheets • Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills • Ability to meet or exceed performance expectations • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
