📋 Description

• Own execution for the Couchbase Mobile portfolio, including Couchbase Lite, Sync Gateway, Capella App Services, and Edge Server • Translate product strategy into a detailed, sequenced roadmap and drive products through shipment and adoption • Write detailed technical product requirements • Partner with engineering and design • Validate pre-release features hands-on • Contribute to JIRA, sprint and roadmap reviews, and agile ceremonies • Improve release quality, documentation, and developer experience • Shape support for on-device and edge AI use cases • Work with customers and prospects to validate use cases and define requirements • Own live customer escalations and drive fixes through engineering • Represent Couchbase Mobile in talks, webinars, and technical content • Equip sales, solutions engineering, and marketing with training and positioning • Represent the portfolio in cross-organizational planning with senior leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience • 3+ years of hands-on software development experience • Track record of driving flawless execution for a mature product or portfolio at scale • Experience with distributed systems, databases, or developer platforms strongly preferred • Genuine technical/developer background with experience building or architecting client-side mobile, desktop, or web applications • Comfortable prototyping • Practical understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, security, and access control • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP • Working understanding of edge computing and AI concepts relevant to on-device and edge inference • Experience using AI tools in day-to-day product management work • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Fluency with agile development processes and JIRA or equivalent • Self-directed, collaborative, and able to drive alignment across functions without formal authority
