📋 Description

• Provide strategies and academic reinforcement to students throughout their academic program and as they prepare for success with the NCLEX-RN exam • Collaborate with academic partners, faculty and staff • Work with students individually and in small groups • Assess learning styles, identify strengths, and discover opportunities for academic development • Create and implement personalized remediation plans • Demonstrate current, detailed, accurate knowledge of concepts tested by the NCLEX-RN and currency in nursing practice • Assist in creating Next Generation NCLEX activities and workshops • Communicate and document students’ academic and co-curricular progress toward student and program learning outcomes to academic leadership • Provide individual or group tutoring • Participate in outreach to students with at-risk referrals • Perform other duties as assigned • Comply with all policies and standards

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing Required • 1+ year experience in an academic environment supporting classroom instruction or specialized tutoring support Preferred • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to communicate via telephone, computer • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills • Ability to work with individuals from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds • Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook • Must be a team player, willing to share and exchange • Maintenance of a current, unencumbered RN license Required • BLS CPR Required • BLS CPR instructor certification Required • ACLS and/or PALS Preferred
