📋 Description

• Locate, start, move, inspect, and safely return vehicles on dealer lots • Conduct thorough vehicle-condition assessments following the Manheim Express Inspection process • Verify vehicle identification and enter accurate VIN, mileage, sub-series, and other vehicle information • Inspect vehicle equipment and options, documenting damage, missing items, and inoperable items • Inspect and record exterior condition, including tires, frame, glass, panels, and mechanical components • Inspect and record interior condition, including seats, dashboard, and options • Perform basic mechanical checks on powertrain, drivetrain, and electrical components • Work with teammates, field sales, and customer care to create a superior customer experience • Use Salesforce.com for reporting, lead input, and customer performance reviews • Inform and educate dealers about auction policies and procedures • Partner with clients at their locations to inspect vehicles and ask for more inventory • Follow safety and health procedures and participate in Safety Excellence activities • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED preferred • Minimal automotive knowledge preferred • 0-1 years of any automotive related experience preferred • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required • Reliable transportation is required • Travel 100% • Good communication and interpersonal skills required • Strong technical aptitude • Must be detail orientated • Experience in navigating handheld and other documentation devices preferred • Motivated to work independently with remote supervision • Ability to multitask, follow directions and take instruction is required • Body, paint, and mechanical repair knowledge helpful • Familiarity with unibody and full-frame helpful • Ability to lift and hold at least 30 lbs. at waist level for an extended period of time • Ability to stand, walk, talk, and hear regularly • Ability to crouch, bend, kneel, lift hoods or trunks, and reach inside or underneath vehicles • Near vision abilities to identify vehicle damage and colors • Ability to deal with different lighting conditions • Physical ability and mental acuity to execute duties within required timeframes • Must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship • No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship now or in future • Must clear a pre-employment drug test
