📋 Description

• Conduct on-site vehicle condition inspections for dealer clients within an assigned territory • Provide accurate, detailed, and timely documentation of vehicle condition according to Manheim inspection standards • Locate, start, move, inspect, and safely return vehicles on dealer client lots • Verify vehicle identification, VINs, mileage, sub-series, and options; enter information accurately into systems • Inspect and document exterior and interior vehicle condition • Perform basic mechanical checks across powertrain, drivetrain, and electrical components • Identify and document damage, missing components, and inoperable features • Build relationships with dealer clients and educate them on Manheim Marketplace and mobile inspection services • Proactively engage dealers to increase inspection volume and maintain participation • Use data, insights, and partner input to maximize inspection efficiency and territory productivity • Adapt to changing daily appointments and schedules to ensure dealer coverage • Prepare and submit daily activity and production reports • Use Salesforce.com for reporting, lead management, and customer performance tracking • Collaborate with Wholesale Specialists, peers, and other Manheim teams • Contribute to continuous improvement and Lean process enhancement initiatives • Maintain production expectations and follow safety, health, compliance, and inspection standards • Participate in Safety Excellence initiatives • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED plus 3+ years of experience in a related field, or any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED, or 5 years’ experience in a related field • 1–2 years of automotive-related experience preferred • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record required • Ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the role within required timeframes • Must live in Irvine, CA or within a 10-mile radius • Must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship • No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, or visa sponsorship now or in the future • Must clear a pre-employment drug test • Ability to independently conduct detailed and complex vehicle inspections • Ability to manage daily inspection schedules efficiently across dealer locations • Ability to use Salesforce.com for reporting, lead management, and customer performance tracking • Ability to comply with Manheim inspection standards, including the NAAA Frame/Structure Damage Policy • Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate sound judgment and problem-solving skills • Ability to locate, start, move, inspect, and return vehicles safely on dealer client lots
