📋 Description

• Lead and supervise a team of 10 to 15+ Mobile Inspectors in a specified geographic territory • Ensure inspection quality and operational efficiency while maintaining accountability and operational excellence • Assist with mobile inspections, new car inspections, and floorplan audits • Ensure inspections and audits meet quality, productivity, and safety objectives • Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and support Mobile Inspectors • Manage ongoing team performance using Lean Daily Management, remote and field-based audits, and continuous improvement initiatives • Build and maintain relationships with auctions, sales, remote dealer services, and other boundary partners • Manage team productivity and quality in partnership with Dispatch and Quality Assurance • Ensure adherence to inspection processes and required disclosures and photos in the inspection application • Monitor inspection quality through digital and in-person audits and arbitration reviews • Provide coaching, corrective actions, and discipline as needed • Coordinate with Sales, Auction, and Remote Dealer Services teams to meet client expectations • Resolve issues and concerns for automotive dealers and commercial clients • Provide or coordinate skill-based and inspection-focused training • Conduct vehicle inspections and floorplan audits as needed • Review work volumes, staffing levels, KPIs, and Lean Daily Management metrics • Implement tactical plans with guidance from the Mobile Inspections Manager • Procure, distribute, and track company equipment • Promote and monitor safety procedures and behaviors • Conduct regular performance reviews for direct reports • Enforce company policies and procedures • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED and 5+ years relevant experience in a related field • One year’s experience in leading teams preferred • Experience with mobile inspections and/or floorplan audits preferred • Previous body shop, mechanical, or estimating experience preferred • General understanding of frame and body repairs and mechanical knowledge • Technical and computer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, scheduling and routing software, and vehicle inspection applications • Demonstrated business acumen and analytical skills • Excellent organizational, customer-focused, proactive, and team-oriented abilities • Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to set priorities and solve problems • Ability to work with remote supervision and supervise remote employees • Vision abilities including close, distance, and depth perception • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for prolonged periods; bend, stoop, squat, or kneel; lift and hold at least 10 lbs at waist level; and lift up to 30 lbs • Ability to work in moderate noise and exposure to fumes and odors • Regular exposure to outside environmental conditions • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record • Ability to travel within the region • Physical ability and mental acuity to execute duties successfully within required timeframes • Must clear a pre-employment drug test • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship • No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, or visa sponsorship now or in the future
