📋 Description

• Serve as the point of contact for the on-site Vanderlande and subcontractor teams • Coordinate execution of SORTATION equipment installation from training through completion • Manage subcontracted construction, installation, testing, and commissioning scope • Report to the Site Manager and collaborate with Mechanical and Electrical Supervisors • Lead on-site installation activities for Cross-sorter EQ on complex projects • Create a safe working environment throughout the project phase • Create the SORTATION installation plan, logistics plan, and time schedule • Lead preparation for installation start-up • Delegate installation responsibilities to installation teams • Check scheduled activities in advance to prevent inefficiency • Follow process maps and manuals • Perform installation and process quality checks • Provide feedback on project progress and status • Create and support a high-quality handover to commissioning • Support commissioning during testing • Organize site activities for the SORTATION scope through customer handover • Manage scope-related costs and work within budgets

🎯 Requirements

• Technical education and experience in the industry • 5 years of relevant working experience in medium to large projects • Knowledge of Material Handling equipment • Reliable transportation • Ability to work 7 days, as needed • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Able to obtain necessary badging required for all project assignments, such as TSA badging to work on Airports • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software • Ability to read blueprints, schematic drawings, and engineering specifications • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals to determine work procedures • OSHA 30 • Willingness to travel up to 100% • Ability to perform substantial to extensive standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting, and lifting • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs. • Ability to work at heights and climb ladders and stairways • Ability to work in all weather conditions • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
