📋 Description

• Assist with installation, assembly, dismantling, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery • Work with high-complexity precision machines, including high-speed sorters, conveyors, hydraulic systems, pumps, gears, bearings, and compressors • Supervise fitting bearings, aligning gears and wheels, attaching motors, and connecting belts according to manufacturer blueprints and drawings • Supervise dismantling of machinery using hand tools • Supervise unloading, inspection, movement, and positioning of equipment using cranes, hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks • Supervise rigging and hoisting devices to move equipment and materials into place • Supervise up to 200 men • Support inventory control and logging through a digital application • Occasionally supervise and qualify the work of journeymen, helpers, and laborers • Work Monday through Friday for 40-plus hours per week, with willingness to work 7 days per week • Travel up to 100% as required

🎯 Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of experience in mechanical installations • Must meet all physical demands, including standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting, lifting, climbing, and working at heights • Experience using industrial hand tools and power tools • OSHA 10 or above • Former/technical education required • Reliable transportation • Willingness to work 7 days a week, as needed • Ability to read blueprints, schematic drawings, engineer specifications, and technical manuals • Ability to obtain mandatory local badging required by the customer or GC at the assignment location • Proficiency in MS Office applications • Journeymen hand tools • Working knowledge of cables, ropes, hoists, and chains • Knowledge of math concepts, geometry, and layout • Good reading comprehension • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Ability to work in all weather conditions and frequent exposure to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibration, and high noise levels • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs • Preferred: Experience as a mechanical on a new conveyor construction project
