📋 Description

• Travel extensively to customer facilities to lead the installation, commissioning, repair, and modification of automated food processing equipment • Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, PLC, and control panel issues • Perform comprehensive preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and operational uptime • Train customer operations and maintenance teams on equipment functionality, safety protocols, and mechanical best practices • Provide real-time technical support and troubleshooting guidance on-site and remotely via phone or digital communication • Act as a trusted technical advisor to help customers optimize their production lines • Complete detailed service reports and document technical findings, root causes, and parts used • Manage assigned tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory • Adhere to company and customer safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and OSHA compliance • Support urgent customer situations and after-hours service needs as required

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of field service experience, preferably within the meat processing or food processing industry • Strong knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, troubleshooting, and repair techniques • Familiarity with PLC systems and control panels • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and electrical diagrams • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while traveling and working on-site • Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including occasional short-notice and after-hours support • Valid driver’s license required • Experience servicing industrial food processing or packaging equipment preferred • Bilingual Spanish proficiency preferred
