📋 Description

• Handle large volumes of files and time-sensitive material associated with transaction matters • Plan and accomplish assignments using experience and judgment • Utilize underwriting standards and guidelines within delegated authority limits • Underwrite the issuance of title insurance • Provide guidance on real estate settlement services • Provide underwriting support, counsel, and authorization to company personnel, agents, and clients • Support the issuance of real estate title insurance commitments and policies • Issue underwriting standards and guidelines in accordance with established company processes

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor • Active and current member of a State Bar • 10+ years of experience as Commercial Underwriting Counsel • Ability to foster, develop, and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex legal documents • Ability to apply logic or legal principles to complex problems • Knowledge of the title insurance industry, including products, policies, and endorsements • Knowledge of commercial insurance coverage and real estate terminology • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Proficiency in computer software systems such as Microsoft Office • Willingness and ability to learn and utilize new software systems • English language fluency required
