📋 Description

• Provide advice and support on legal issues relating to Practice operations and transactions • Develop and maintain client relationships with local-practice and business-team partners • Identify legal risks and issues arising in day-to-day operations, contractual matters, and business transactions • Collaboratively develop solutions to complex legal and business issues • Counsel practice leadership regarding proposed arrangements and complex legal matters • Draft and negotiate employment and services agreements and other contracts and legal documents • Negotiate business deals and legal disputes • Build and refine processes and systems to deliver exceptional legal services across a nationwide organization • Support business counterparts in responding to audits or litigation matters • Manage and coordinate matters with outside counsel • Advise on corporate governance documents and structures

🎯 Requirements

• Strategic thinking skills to provide practical advice with awareness of legal risks in the business context • Strong understanding of legal and business factors related to health care services • Excellent oral and written communication skills in legal and business contexts • Strong interpersonal skills to establish client rapport • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to independently prioritize competing matters • Ability to work with and maintain confidential information • J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school • Licensed to practice law and a member in good standing of a state bar • 6+ years of corporate/transactional/operations combined experience at a law firm and in-house at a health care company preferred, strongly preferably health care services
