📋 Description

• Lead the creation, review, and implementation of safety plans, procedures, and technical deliverables • Provide subject matter expertise and mentorship to junior safety professionals • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulatory standards • Participate in and lead high-level safety reviews involving operational risk and complex processes • Plan and deliver training on safety practices, regulatory updates, and hazard mitigation • Conduct and document site inspections, hazard assessments, and root cause analyses for incidents • Identify trends and recommend improvements to reduce risks and enhance safety performance • Collaborate with project teams, engineering, operations, and leadership to integrate safety throughout work phases • Stay current with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging safety-management technologies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field (required) • Master’s degree or advanced safety/management education (preferred) • Minimum 7–10 years of progressive SHE experience, with at least 3 years in a multi-site or regional management capacity • Strong knowledge of safety programs in manufacturing, construction, utilities, or services • Experience in training, audits, root cause analysis, and hazard control implementation • Experience implementing and supporting Process Safety Management (PSM) preferred for manufacturing roles • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) required • Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) required • Occupational Health & Safety Technician (OHST) required for manufacturing and service roles • OSHA 30-Hour Certification required • First Aid/CPR Certification required • Additional certifications such as ASP, CESCP, or CIH are a plus
