📋 Description

• Provide leadership, support, and guidance to the post-closing team • Ensure post-closing compliance with applicable state and federal guidelines and company standards • Oversee daily operations related to Collateral Management, MERS Registration and Transfer, Delivery Review Analysts, Insuring, Post-Closing, and Final Documents • Manage the post-closing pipeline • Coach and support the post-closing team • Interpret and implement investor, agency, federal, and state requirements • Run, analyze, and manage post-closing reports and track employee performance • Produce reports for senior management on productivity, quality, and efficiency • Update post-closing materials, forms, and checklists • Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure funded loans are purchased in a timely manner • Build relationships with branch managers and sales teams and provide guidance • Analyze performance, turn times, and staffing constraints • Attend monthly QC meetings, analyze QC reports, identify retraining needs, coordinate with training, and provide feedback • Disseminate company initiatives, investor updates, process changes, goals, and performance information • Develop ideas to improve operations and procedures • Monitor post-closing defects and trends and create improvement action plans

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mortgage closing, shipping, and/or post-closing • Minimum of 3 years’ management experience in the mortgage industry • Strong knowledge of state and federal mortgage industry laws, including RESPA, TILA, and ECOA • Minimum of 2 years’ experience using the Encompass loan operating system • Experience working with investors to clear post-closing conditions • Experience processing and/or underwriting conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and 203(k) loans
