📋 Description

• Manage the day-to-day tasks of the Post Closing Team. • Serve as the first level escalation point for general questions, additional file reviews, and loan-level decisions. • Review and balance team loan assignments and task load. • Provide employee development and performance coaching in one-on-one meetings. • Assist with onboarding and training new hires and existing employees. • Monitor team performance metrics and report documentation accuracy, timeliness, and compliance to management. • Suggest process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. • Review production and processes to identify trends for the Investor Suspense Manager. • Pull daily investor reporting to identify suspended loans and load balance files as needed. • Assist with Post Closing Team tasks and responsibilities as necessary. • Review and obtain investor clarification to determine acceptable cures for defects. • Monitor daily investor condition reports for suspended-loan updates and new conditions. • Monitor loan time on warehouse lines and advise the Investor Suspense Manager of potential curtailment risk. • Monitor the pipeline to ensure shipped loans are conditioned or purchased promptly. • Provide assigned-loan status updates to the Post Closing Management Team. • Ensure investor guidelines are followed and suspense fees are avoided. • Review and approve team check requests as applicable. • Ensure the Post Closing Team meets monthly purchased-loan goals.

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent. • 4+ years’ experience in a Post Closing role. • 2+ years’ experience in a Team Lead or Senior Post Closing role. • Experience working in Encompass, preferred. • Extensive knowledge of regulatory rules and regulations. • Thorough knowledge of agency and investor guidelines and overlays. • Experience working with various loan programs and addressing investor conditions and exceptions. • Excellent communication skills. • Excellent customer service skills with internal employees and external vendors. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to determine solutions and identify alternative resolutions within acceptable guidelines. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Skilled at prioritizing to complete multiple tasks within established deadlines. • Skilled at making decisions independently. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. • Must be eligible to work in the United States based on the employer-selected location, “Remote USA.”
