📋 Description

• Lead clinical informatics initiatives supporting integration and optimization of EHR and other clinical systems • Collaborate with product, IT, and data teams to reflect clinical requirements in platform design and functionality • Gather and prioritize provider and clinical staff feedback for system improvements and user experience enhancements • Contribute to interoperability efforts, including evaluation of data exchange standards, APIs, and vendor integrations • Configure and maintain clinical applications such as Athenahealth and Elation • Provide tier-2 application support and escalate issues to vendors or IT when needed • Participate in software upgrades, testing, and system validation • Assist with vendor relationship management and service-level expectations • Develop training materials, job aids, and tip sheets • Deliver training and go-live support to providers, nurses, and operational staff • Document clinical workflows and maintain system configuration records • Support project timelines, testing plans, and implementation checklists • Track KPIs and performance metrics related to system usage and provider satisfaction • Participate in informatics and operations meetings to align organizational goals and identify improvement opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Health Informatics, Nursing, Information Systems, or related field • 3–5+ years of experience in clinical informatics, clinical application support, or health IT • Hands-on experience configuring and supporting EHR systems; experience with Athenahealth is a strong plus • Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, APIs) • Excellent communication and change management skills, with experience translating clinical needs into technical solutions • Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset
