📋 Description

• Triage, investigate, and respond to security detections across endpoint, identity, email, network, and cloud environments • Conduct tactical analysis of EDR telemetry, log sources, and forensic artifacts to determine compromise root cause and scope • Develop targeted remediation recommendations • Investigate suspicious Microsoft 365 activity, including BEC and AITM attacks • Contain threats and deliver actionable guidance to customers • Perform basic malware analysis for security incident investigation and triage • Develop and improve incident detection processes and countermeasures • Serve as the primary customer contact during incident response activities • Produce clear customer and internal communications, recommendations, and findings

🎯 Requirements

• This position is open to candidates in PST and MST time zones • Experience in incident handling and coordinating incident response across a broad range of security events • Experience investigating host/user compromises, network breaches, organized crime, and advanced persistent threats • Strong working knowledge of attack vectors and threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) • Demonstrated experience applying frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK to active investigations • Hands-on experience using computer forensic analysis tools • Ability to perform basic static and dynamic malware analysis • Strong understanding of Windows, Mac, and/or Linux operating systems • Understanding of Windows internals, including the file system, registry, scheduled tasks, and running processes • Hands-on systems administration experience across enterprise environments • Strong working knowledge of network protocols and analysis tools • Experience with identity and access management platforms such as Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, and Active Directory • Experience investigating Microsoft 365 security incidents, including BEC and AITM attacks • Working knowledge of enterprise log sources and experience conducting investigation and triage within a SIEM platform • Basic understanding of incident remediation and third-party platform containment measures • Working knowledge of secure network architecture and hands-on network troubleshooting experience • Experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting • Experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making and streamline workflows • Ability to complete technical tasks without supervision • Must be willing to work a 4x10 schedule, including a day on the weekend • Only open to US citizens and Green Card holders • BA or BS / MA or MS degree in a specified technical or related field, or relevant work experience and/or training in lieu of a degree • May be required to periodically undergo and pass alcohol and/or drug tests
