📋 Description

• Triage, investigate, and respond to security detections across endpoint, identity, email, network, and cloud environments • Conduct tactical analysis of EDR telemetry, log sources, and forensic artifacts to determine root cause and scope of compromise • Develop targeted remediation recommendations • Investigate suspicious Microsoft 365 activity, including BEC and AITM attacks • Contain threats and deliver actionable guidance to customers • Perform basic malware analysis to support incident investigation and triage • Develop and improve incident detection processes and countermeasures • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during incident response activities • Produce clear, concise, and professional written and verbal communications, recommendations, and findings for customers and internal stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• This position is open to candidates in PST and MST time zones • Experience in one or more of incident handling, threat landscape awareness, computer forensic analysis, malware analysis, operating system fundamentals, systems administration, network analysis, identity platform awareness, email security awareness, third-party log analysis, incident remediation, network operations and architecture/engineering, programming/scripting, or AI fundamentals • Hands-on incident response experience across a broad range of security events, including managing multiple simultaneous incidents across hosts and customer environments • Working knowledge of attack vectors, threat actor TTPs, and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK • Hands-on experience using forensic analysis tools • Ability to perform basic static and dynamic malware analysis • Strong understanding of Windows, Mac, and/or Linux operating systems, including Windows internals • Hands-on systems administration experience across enterprise environments • Working knowledge of network protocols and analysis tools • Experience with identity and access management platforms such as Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, and Active Directory • Experience investigating Microsoft 365 security incidents, including BEC and AITM attacks • Working knowledge of enterprise log sources and experience conducting investigation and triage within a SIEM platform • Basic understanding of threat containment and remediation actions • Working knowledge of secure network architecture and hands-on network troubleshooting • Experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting • Experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes • Capable of completing technical tasks without supervision • Desire to grow and expand technical and soft skills • Ability to foster a positive work environment and attitude • Must be willing to work a 4x10 schedule, including a day on the weekend • BA or BS / MA or MS degree in a listed technical or related field, or relevant work experience and/or training will be considered • Must undergo and pass alcohol and/or drug tests if required during employment
