📋 Description

• Manage client risk and ensure the highest margins on Swish products through +EV decisions • Manage and oversee depth chart accuracy, making time-sensitive adjustments in prematch and in-play settings • Trade live, in-play markets in real time by adjusting prices as line movement, sharp action, and in-game events unfold • Manage exposure through high-liquidity, fast-moving windows • Research and track verified news sources to uncover important news and understand its impact on betting markets • Analyze betting trends using a scientific process and turn data into quantifiable trading actions • Help shape process, tooling, and decision-making within the sports trading operation

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years demonstrated sports trading or betting experience • Deep understanding of sports betting, odds origination, and live in-play pricing dynamics • High degree of expertise in NHL trading plus broad sports market knowledge of NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, NCAA Football/Basketball, soccer, and tennis • Strong mathematical, statistical, and/or analytical skills • Ability to build and test betting models • Ability to calculate and convert odds/EV on the fly • Results-driven work ethic focused on improving process, results, and profitability • Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays • Bachelor's degree in a STEM, business analytics, or sport management/quantitative business field preferred • Understanding of relational database systems (MySQL) / working SQL proficiency preferred • Experience working with cross-functional teams preferred • Data Science team experience is a plus • Successful completion of background and reference checks may be required
