📋 Description

• Triage, investigate, and respond to security detections across endpoint, identity, email, network, and cloud environments • Conduct tactical analysis of EDR telemetry, log sources, and forensic artifacts to determine root cause and compromise scope • Develop targeted remediation recommendations • Investigate suspicious Microsoft 365 activity, including BEC and AITM attacks • Contain threats and deliver actionable guidance to customers • Perform basic malware analysis to support incident investigation and triage • Develop and improve incident detection processes and countermeasures • Serve as the primary customer contact during incident response activities • Produce clear, concise, and professional communications, recommendations, and findings for customers and internal stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• This position is open to candidates in PST and MST time zones • Experience in one or more of incident handling, threat landscape awareness, computer forensic analysis, malware analysis, operating system fundamentals, systems administration, network analysis, identity platforms, email security, third-party log analysis, incident remediation, network operations and architecture/engineering, programming/scripting, or AI fundamentals • Hands-on incident response experience across a broad range of security events, including managing multiple simultaneous incidents across hosts and customer environments • Knowledge of attack vectors, threat actor TTPs, and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK • Experience using forensic analysis tools in incident response investigations • Basic static and dynamic malware analysis ability • Strong understanding of Windows, Mac, and/or Linux operating systems, especially Windows internals • Hands-on network administration and troubleshooting experience • Knowledge of network protocols and analysis tools • Experience with Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, or similar identity technologies • Experience investigating Microsoft 365 security incidents, including BEC and AITM attacks • Working knowledge of enterprise log sources and SIEM investigation and triage • Basic understanding of threat containment and remediation across compromised hosts • Working knowledge of secure network architecture and hands-on network troubleshooting • Experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting languages • Experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes • Must be willing to work a 4x10 schedule, including a weekend day • Only open to US citizens and Green Card holders • BA or BS / MA or MS degree in a listed technical or related field; applicants without a degree but with relevant work experience and/or training will be considered • May be required to periodically undergo and pass alcohol and/or drug tests during employment
