📋 Description

• Architect, implement, and optimize exabyte-scale data platforms and pipelines for LLMs, neural networks, RAG, and AI agentic systems • Drive adoption and deployment of agentic workflows and agent harnessing techniques for autonomous, data-driven security features • Build highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and cost-effective data solutions • Write production-ready code focused on performance, maintainability, and rigorous testing • Provide technical leadership in data modeling, normalization, and semantic cataloging for AI/ML workloads • Establish MLOps/DataOps best practices for LLMs, including monitoring, observability, and zero-touch recovery • Mentor engineers through technical workshops and design reviews • Collaborate with Data Scientists, Product Managers, and engineering teams to turn research prototypes into production-grade services • Own development, testing, deployment, and monitoring of critical data services

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related STEM field, or equivalent practical experience • 5+ years of progressive experience in Data Engineering/Platform Engineering • At least 3 years focused on architecting and building platforms for AI/ML or Data Science at massive scale • Demonstrable hands-on experience in LLM engineering, including fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and deployment • Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) • Experience developing agentic workflows • Proven track record of designing and delivering large-scale distributed systems, including sharding, partitioning, and concurrency • Exceptional ability to write clean, elegant, performant, and well-tested code • Ability to leverage AI aided secure code development • Thorough understanding of engineering practices, including peer code reviews, resilient architecture design, and comprehensive testing paradigms • Prior experience in a Staff-level engineering role • Technical leadership and mentorship capabilities • Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes • Expert-level proficiency in at least one of Python, Go, Rust, or JVM technologies • Experience with MLOps tools such as MLflow, SageMaker, or Vertex AI • Experience with agentic frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex • Experience with Spark, Dask, or Flink • Experience with AWS, GCP, or OCI and related data services • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes • Experience with Kafka or Pulsar • Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, Airflow, or Kubeflow
